Deconstructed Linen Wrap Jacket, Charcoal

Deconstructed Linen Wrap Jacket, Charcoal

$ 298.00

This jacket came to life when photographer Romy Suskin was visiting my studio. She saw my unfinished mock-up of a jacket I was developing and she loved it. I thank her eye in seeing the piece in its unstructured form and appreciating its rawness. The light grey version is no longer available, but I've added Romy's photo here for you to see how she paired it with my plaid women's trouser.

This jacket has raw edges, but the stay stitching right above the cut edge keeps it from raveling away. Just trim the ends of the fringe when they get too unstructured for your taste. I like to wear mine with the edge having some fringe that unravels quite a bit. A little trim and a light press (or a trip to my eco-friendly dry cleaner) always spiffs it back up.

Unlined linen wrap jacket with staystitching and fringed edges. This jacket is loose and relaxed, with a bit of tailored details for structure.

Deep side seam pockets, shawl collar with a low breakpoint, attached sash. Fringe at the collar, hem, sleeve hems and sash ends.

100% linen, sustainably sourced

Available in Charcoal.

Size XS - L in stock and ready to ship. For additional sizes please allow about 2 weeks to ship.

Size XS, S, M and L are currently in stock for immediate delivery.

If the fringed edge gets too 'fringy' for you, just give it a little trim with scissors. The staystitching will hold the fringed edge together!
